Dynamic portrait of a black horse galloping against a lush green backdrop.

For 6000 years we learnt from animals.

Then we forgot how.

For most of human history and civilization, a horse was not a sport. A horse was how you farmed, how you fought wars, how you healed, how you learned to lead. Hippocrates wrote about horse riding in ancient Greece. Cavalry officers were taught that you cannot lead men until you can lead a horse.

In two generations in India, we lost that.

We moved to cities. To apartments. To screens. We put animals in stories, not in our lives.

We lost co-regulation. A child used to grow up around animals. Their nervous system learnt calm from a warm body, rhythmic breath, non-judgmental presence. Now that child grows up with a screen.

We lost partnership. Horsemanship used to be about conversation, not control. We turned it into a sport about kicking harder.

We lost true leadership. Leadership used to be earned in the field. You had to be worth following. Now we give people titles and hope they learn.

Lessons from the herd

For children with Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, anxiety or for adults living with chronic stress, depression or PTSD. The horse’s movement and warmth regulates the vagal tone and helps the nervous system relax and feel safe.

For those who want to learn to ride the way it was taught for centuries – a partnership based on trust and mutual respect.

For organisations. For Leaders. For Teams. Experiential learning with horses to help your reveal your actual culture and transform.
